CCTV project

The CCTV project is to introduce about Japanese traditional things for American people on TV.  There are many Japanese traditional.  For example, there are Karuta, Yukata, Origami and Taiko.  Maybe almost American people don't know about Japanese culture as much.  So, TIUA students introduced these.  Some people wore Yukata, and the other people wore Happi coat.  It was cool.  If  people who don't know about Japanese culture watch these on TV, people may be interested Japanese culture.

Bistro

In 1985, Willamette students Eric and John caught up with good idea.  That was to make a place where students could hang out in the evening.  They didn't have a caffee shop on campus.  They wanted to hang out and buy snacks at night.  In the fall of 1986, the Bistro opened for the first time.  The Willamette students can work in  this shop today.   Today, it has been nearly twenty years since the Bistro started business.  There were some events in the Bistro.   Many students are using the Bistro now.
